Let me share story behind the photo Bear performance. I took that photo No.1 in 1971 while I was documenting new Zagreb neighbourhoods being built. Croatian capital, Zagreb, was the construction site in the seventies. At one of those construction sites, one member of Roma minority appeared and made his bear perform his act climbing at the utility pole. Roma men (pejoratively called Cigani – Gypsy - at that time) attracted many people with his chained bear and was given some money. Unfortunately, I didn’t capture the crowd, apart from one boy who is peeking on the left downside of the picture. This photo, as well as some other my photos, was included into the Collection of Croatian Photography published by Zagreb Photo Club (link) http://hrvatska-fotozbirka.com/hr/fotografije/?author=101Time
