the octagon tower is a awesome place to shoot, as it shows the 8 sides of the cathedral and how it is balanced just on the 8 stone pillarsEditing
imported the photo to photoshop, then divided into 3 tiff files -1.0.+1 then merged them in photomatix software on natural settings then reimported into PS to tweak the contrast and hightsIn my camera bag
I always spare batteries , lens cleaner and cloth, spare cards 24-70mm and 70-200mm and 12-24mm sigma lenses , tripodFeedback
always plan what you want to shoot before hand , and if the area is busy , be prepared to wait
