It was a frosty morning and very early! Cold and sleepy, I embarked on the long trek to the bus stop (I felt as though I was setting out on a sub-zero expedition, such was my state of self-pitying absorption!) The sight of this tiny clump of moss atop a farm wall was so wonderful that it caused me to fully awaken...and the minutes that I spent photographing it also caused me to miss my bus! The photo was taken in Ballyclare, County Antrim, Ireland, 28.02.17.
