1-4000

In the Bay of Islands in New Zealand's North Island, we caught the ferry from Piahia to Russell. Sitting on the back of the ferry, it was fun to watch the whitewash coming from the back of the boat (as well as watch the excellent landscapes). This was taken at 1-4000th of a second, and is wonderfully mesmerising to look at over and over again. There is a lot to look at here for what is essentially a small photo. I love how it captures the little fragments of water frozen at one moment in time.
