Nice attempt at a night photo, but I think it fails due to several reasons. First, the horizon is not straight and makes the photo look tilted. Second, neither the foregraound or the background is sharp. And third, I think the foreground steal too much attention and makes the image "heavy" on the left side. But you got a lot of the interesting part of the Milky way there so give it another try!
