It was a cold yet magical morning on the eastern plains of Colorado. When I awoke to this sparkling sight I just knew i had to go and find the perfect shoot to depict the silent joy caused by this natural wonder. I picked the sign because the frost was very clear and stood out on the chicken-wire. In addition, the sign causes one to realize that these beautiful ice formations where not in some remote and inaccessible place; in fact, they had crept out of the cold fall night to amaze the people it surrounded.
