Behind The Lens

Location

Took this photo in Lanzarote. We were visiting the local zoo on a really hot day when we seen 2 of the staff walking out an enclosure with an afican eagle owl each. Couldn't believe my luck.

Time

14:00hrs

Lighting

Really hot afternoon in Lanzarote.

Equipment

Canon EOS 7D with a 70 - 300 L telephoto lense.

Inspiration

Owl was such a poser and it looked perfect in the day time sunshine.

Editing

No post processing.

In my camera bag

Normally carry my canon eos 7d, 70-300l lense, 100mm macro and my 24-105L.

Feedback

Always have your camera at the ready with spare batteries. Take your time with the shot and try to get the right angle so you can frame it properly.
