Puspa is a female orangutan at Adelaide Zoo, South Australia. She recently lost her friend Karta who gave birth to a stillborn baby and died shortly after. I think she looks sad, and is missing her friend. It makes me sad to see animals in captivity of such beauty and I hope that our insatiable greed for palm oil is one day a thing of the past, before these beautiful creatures are wiped out in the wild.
