It was Christmas Day and after a heady day of snow that hit the area I decided why not venture into my backyard to enjoy the snow covered scenery. On my way back home I noticed a deer cross the road and pulled out into the parking lot not far from the Zion Lodge and watched as a whole family of deer were out looking for food and this particular one was not shy at all walking pretty close to me as I took photos.
