Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard in lajas Puerto Rico, I remembered walking down my house and suddenly there he was, posing naturally for the camera.

Time

This photo was taken during the afternoon near the sunset, dont remember the day. The natural light was at its best hitting the subject. Everything came out perfect. Itr

Lighting

It was a sunny day, and the light was perfect in the afternoon, it helps me a lot when I got the photo.

Equipment

I used a canon rebel t5 with a canon 35-300 mm lens.

Inspiration

I saw the iguana posing there, and it the muse just hit me. This was one of my best photos I've ever took of an iguana near my home. It is amazing how incredible this reptiles look up and close, all the details and the colors.

Editing

No i didnt used any post procesing, just working the bright and contrast.

In my camera bag

I normally have my canon rebel t-7 with the sigma 120-600 mm and the sigma 18-35mm with some flashes and differents Sd cards.

Feedback

If you want to take a photo fo an iguana you better have lots of patiences, and try to do it from a distance that you dont scare them. The iguanas are very sensitive and if they see you walking to them they will run for their lifes. Be patient and have a good telephoto lense so you can have a good close up.
