Truly outstanding work !
It is incredibly well thought out, simple and effective.
You have presented us with a nice range of earth tones and textures that are pleasing to the eye and tap into our primal instincts as hunter / gatherers.
This image would do very well in food related contests.
I'm proud of you on creating this fine image and, you should be too !

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my home studio, otherwise known as the dining room!

Time

It was most likely late afternoon. I have a full-time job and photography has to come in second. On my days off, I am most active with my camera.

Lighting

A simple little LED stand light is all I used for this photo.

Equipment

I used my canon t3 with my macro 100mm lens, nothing else was needed.

Inspiration

I have seen similar photos with herbs and spoons, and loved the textures. I decided on beans since they are cheap, colorful and make great soup.

Editing

I almost always boost the clarity, contrast and luminance just a bit.

In my camera bag

I now have a canon t3 & t6....I always have my 100mm macro.....16-35mm. I might throw in some other lenses, but those are my fav. I always keep tripod and remote shutter. Extras of cards, batteries, etc.

Feedback

Practice,Practice,Practice....keep shooting!
