Over the last few weeks a large roost of starlings have been creating a wonderful murmuration over Ripon Racecourse. The trees give a sense of scale to this large column of birds shaping into something similar to a serpents head. This is from my final visit for this week but I hope to get back next weekend as this is one of the best nature spectacles I've watched in a long while.
