(this was a fashion ensemble, I build around the character of Persephone and a poem I wrote for her. In this image I crafted the hair, makeup and wardrobe, to speak to the surreal nature of mythology and the characters within those tales).

Mother,
I will never be free from him, for I have traveled too far and the underworld has swallowed me up. His lips are now mine, his arms are no longer his and his darkened smile melts me. His name, spears the warmest summers in my heart and has me longing for the long winters embrace. I am now wicked, for my husband is Hades and I am loving the fire.
