I’d been waiting for a frosty morning for a while now. The weather forecast predicted about -5C so I was up at 5am (before the birds!)… I had Pat, a camera club buddy with me to help me get up and navigate to all the beautiful spots! We drove around the countryside in the middle of nowhere, got out of the car here and there to take some shots but I think we found a cracker with this place! All the elements seemed to have come together here…as the sun was getting higher in the sky, it started melting the frost creating the fabulous veil of mist…
We soon realised we’d spent most of the time trying to find the best spots to photograph so we ran out of time as the sun got too high (you only really have 30-45 minutes just before and after sunrise to catch the best light!) so we found a pub-hotel and had a lovely breakfast before spending more time finding places worth photographing in a frosty morning, one of which was of course Henley which we passed on our way back…
So here’s one of that morning, hope you like it
