I think spring is my favourite time of year, if just for the Snowdrops and Daffodils. There are very few Daffodils out at the moment, but the Snowdrops are perfect.

My grandad used to grow Snowdrops along the edge of his garden path and every time we went over he would cut my brother and myself a small bunch to put in vases in our bedrooms (the vase that mine always went in currently has the leftover roses from yesterday's photo) and the rest of the year we would have other flowers from his garden, sometimes tulips, sometimes daffodils, sometimes lavender, he grows so much in his garden (the rhubarb and mint are some of the best) but my favourites will always be the snowdrops.

We took a walk around the local National Trust gardens today, as we do every couple of months or so, and there were so many snowdrops. And now I am home, sorting through the photos whilst watching Titanic. I have been watching a lot of Kate Winslet films lately, considering I am not overly keen on her as an actress...
