It was the last day of camping a windsurfing trip in the Shippagan area. I was awake at six o'clock and was reading a book lying in my sleeping bag. I suddenly thought that I had not done much pictures and this would be the last chance I had of enjoying the sunrise. I got up and went by bike with my camera bag. I found a path that was heading towards the sea and I followed it. Once on the beach, I photographed the sunrise. I noticed an old boat attached by a rope in the water. I took some pictures from the beach but the result was very ordinary. I realized that to make a good picture, I had to enter the water to place myself back to the rising sun, so between the sun and the boat. So I took off the shoes, my stockings and rolled my pants to get into the water and place myself between the sun and the rowboat without shadowing it. I waited for the water Again calm to take several shots at different focal lengths with my wide angle lens.
