This was taken from Cates Park in Vancouver

Snow melt finally filing up the local streams up. Used a ND filter to get a long exposure then added a nik filter in PS.

Well I was lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis on Saturday night just up the road from my house. Something very special about seeing something so incredible when you are leadt expecting it.
