This summer I took a trip to Northwestern Maryland to visit the area my ancestors settled in. While I was in the area, I decided to drive over to Cunningham Falls since it was only a few minutes away. The expansive area was included as part of as State Park which covered miles of the beginning of the mountains all the way down to the base of the valley. This photo was taken at the lake which rested at the bottom of the valley.
