I was wanting to take a photo of the Tre Cime in the Dolomites, Sud Tyrol recently but when I arrived there after a 4 hour walk in the snow, I noticed the three mountain faces were hardly visible due to the low level clouds. I spent some time waiting and then decided to play with the very friendly and curious alpine birds that I often see in the mountains. They are always happy to put on a show it seems and I spent what seemed like forever just photographing them in their poetic motion.
