Behind The Lens

Location

In my High School Yard in front of my math class.

Time

It was in the after noon. We where busy with photography club.

Lighting

Wish I cloud get closer, but the sun was at my back. The sun shining on the subject helped with the color.

Equipment

I used the Nikon D5300 with the 55-200mm VRii kit lens.

Inspiration

I was looking how the two parent woodpeckers was making turns to feed the chicks. I want to get that in the photo.

Editing

I just cropped, sharpen, deepen and color enhance.

In my camera bag

I just have my camera Nikon D5300 with the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm kit lenses. I have for the lenses lens hoods and cpl filters. I use an old flash, extension tubes and have a cheap tripod.

Feedback

Just because you have the cheap gear, doesn't mean you can't take good pictures. Believe in your self and practise a lot. If your lens doesn't have the best zoom, be patient, calm and move very slowly to get closer to animals.
