Behind The Lens

Location
The portrait of myself was taken in my moms living room, and the clouds and birds I shot on separate days.
Time
Mid-day so there was a lot of light flooding into the room.
Lighting
All natural light.
Equipment
Just my camera and tripod. Everything else was edited in photoshop.
Inspiration
I was living with my mom after a break up from my ex fiancé at the time. Was a really weird place for me, since I’ve lived away from home since I was 18 and here I was at 28 back at my parents. I literally felt like My head was in the clouds but not in the good way that most people use that phrase for. Rather a nightmare that kept going. The birds are the memories and horrors I can’t get away from that circle my mind.
Editing
Yes the clouds and birds where added into the main portrait.
In my camera bag
Now I shoot on canon eos r’s, 2 of them and all prime lenses: 24,35,50 and 85.
Feedback
Plan it out. Composites take planning, so start with the big picture and work your way down so you can shoot the remaining pieces to fit correctly.
