Mexican artist Diego Rivera finished "Russian Revolution or Third International" in 1933. It was conceived for the Communist League of America, also known as the House of Trotskyism and the work was installed in the museum Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico City, in 1977.
The mural depicts workers of the world listen to the message of leaders Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky. The orderly Red Army and a group of armed civilians accompany the leaders. In the background, the flag of the Third International, founded in 1919 to promote access of the proletariat to power, the abolition of classes and the expansion of socialism, stands out.
