I was wandering through ViewBug photos and came across some really clever shots involving a mirror and how the reflection adds to the subject. I thought I'd give it a go with a few of my partner's bits of jewellery and particularly liked this one. I'm also trying to get better at using my speedlite flash so also used that for this shot. The ring is sat on a mirror with a black backdrop behind. The flash was fired up at the ceiling.
