Behind The Lens

Location

The shot was taken in THE APOTHECARIES' GARDEN at Moscow, during annual Spring Flower Fest. One of the my first attempts to shoot macro.

Time

My favorite time for ourdoor - before the sunset.

Lighting

Nothing special, just natural evening sunlight.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon EOS 100D, with my first prime Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Art lens. That's all, no other equipment.

Inspiration

It was very pleasant tint of yellow.

Editing

Very slightly correction using ON1 RAW film effects (Fuji Velvia is my favorite).

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 100D, Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Art, Sigma 17-50 f/2.8

Feedback

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Art is highly recommended for APS-C DSLR as compact, not so expensive, universal lens with extremely good quality. But it's quite tricky to shoot macro flower shot with this lens. Special macro lenses (or telephoto) are better choice.
