Taken at Lake Minnewaska in Rochester Township, NY. In the distance are the Catskill Mountains. I took the short 2 mile hike around Lake Minnewaska and stopped to take in the view from the top of the cliffs. The beautiful icy lake caught my eye first, then when I looked up, I saw the golden sunset shining onto the mountains along the horizon. It was the perfect photo opportunity. If only that moment lasted longer, it was such a beautiful scene. I'm so glad I was able to capture this moment.
