Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture at the Oasis of the Variconi, in the province of Caserta

Time

I took this photo at sunset. I was there to photograph birds and before leaving I stopped because the sunset was beautiful

Lighting

the lighting conditions were perfect in order to capture the scene at best. Of the eminent clouds to surround a single red fire

Equipment

I used my olympus M5 Mk ii with the 12 40 pro and hightec formatt filters

Inspiration

The beauty of the sunset and the trunk carried by the current and that reminded me of a bridge between the land and the sea

Editing

I post produced the photo with C1 to enhance the already wonderful colors of the sunset. A light intervention not to distort the photo

In my camera bag

For the light outputs I bring my olympus m5 mk ii with me with the 20 ,, 1.7 panasonic and the 45mm 1.8 olympus. For the views I usually use the 12 40 2.8 pro that I find very nice and that allows me to have a wide range of focal lengths.

Feedback

Be very patient, and observe the village trying to catch the best moment. Using gradual ND filters is certainly essential, in order to better balance the brightness of the sky and the foreground. Focus in manual, so you can choose precisely the point of interest.
