Thank you. I know what you mean. The car is parked in the middle of nowhere, by a river, with livestock grazing around it.

Such a great image - any idea what make the car was - I was thinking an old Vanguard or a Peugeot 203 - mainly because I owned one of each of those as a younger man

Interesting. My husband thought it may be a Vanguard, but wasnt sure. Now we will have to go back one day to check this out.

Had a look back at some of my old prints - pretty sure it is a Vanguard Standard 50or a similar model of that era - solid old cars that reputedly had Massey Ferguson engines if I remember correctly

Have googled that info and think you have hit the nail on the head! will let you know if we return, but thinking back, there were no identifying badges
