While my travel companions made lunch, I hiked to this untouched black beach. I counted how long it took for some gentle waves to sweep in and out and used a Lee Little Stopper with B+W polarizer to capture 4 sets of waves. This created a lovely pattern on the black sand. The subtle pebbles on the beach help lead the eye into the shot too.
