A regular visitor to my backyard feeders from May to September every year.

For the last few winters, snowy owls have visited the Ottawa area.

A beautiful female snowy owl, spending her afternoon keeping watch in a farmer's field. Blending in with her scenery, she was tricky to spot.

This handsome boy and his mate were in my yard all summer. Beautiful - and noisy with their cheery song every morning.

Blending in perfectly with his beautiful winter coat, this guy and his buddies hang out with the deer at the bird feeders in the winter woods.
