Chase the light as often as possible. Shoot the same places over and over again even if you think you’ve shot every angle go back and look again. Be patient, for every 1000 photos you might really really like 1. Be critical of your work. Watch the waves as you shoot long exposures, waves coming in look different than going out on a long exposure.
