One of the most important tasks facing the farmers living next door to Volcano Eyjafjallajökull during its eruption in 2010 was taking care of their live stock. This means amongst other issues finding new stables and new, uncontaminated pastures for the horses.
Shot at the curbside of Highway No 1. The ever present ash can clearly be seen here. I was completely covered with that grey dust when those horses were gone.
