'Howdy Neighbor'

Today we went out to the coast on word there was a Snowy at HBSP. We were both off doing other things when Susan got a text message about the bird. She contacted me, and plans were redirected quite quickly. This is my first Snowy for the season... so glad it stuck around. Although, it stuck around so long that the light went to shit and it still didn't fly. There was roughly 30 or so photographers.... many of whom I knew from prior outings and had maybe seen once or twice. It was really great to see so many familiar faces out there today!

All this bird needs is a thin-brimmed hat down over its eyes and a quote saying "Hi Neighbor" :)
