Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at the Killing Fiels in Cambodia, near Phnom Phen.

Time

In the afternoon.

Lighting

Nothing special.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D5200, do not remember what lens I had on at the moment. No other extra equipment was used.

Inspiration

The Killing Fields made a huge impact on me, but out of respect I did not want to take too many photos. I only took this photo and another one of the Killing Tree. I had an audio tour on while I was there, and at one point I just sat down to collect my thoughts again. These bracelets were put on the fence around a mass grave by visitors of the Killing Fields, to pay respect.

Editing

I never do too much, only improved colours a little bit.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D5200 + 16-85mm + 35mm + 70-300mm. I also carry an extra battery. That's all. I would love to upgrade my equipment, but unfortunately I do not have too much time (or money for that matter) for photography lately as I am still a student.

Feedback

Try to create depth or sit/lie down when taking a photo instead of standing up.
