This is a huge bronze casting of the original sculpture. It is located in Waupun Wisconsin. The statue came to Waupun by the efforts of a local businessman named Clarence Shaler who bought a whole slew of beautiful statues decades ago and gave them to the city. You can see them scattered around town. This one is at a park. If you visit the cemetery on the hill next to the park, you will find a Lorado Taft sculpture called "The Recording Angel" which was commissioned by Shaler for the passing of his wife Blanche. The photograph has been processed with Paintshop Pro to resemble an antique photo. I hope it worked.
