Location:
The location is located in Eindhoven, It's an old Philips building what they using now as a musiccenter for beginning artists.

This building has at the left side big windows where the light comes in the room, this is the only lightsource what I using on this location.

By doing a shoot with a model, I give the model the opportunities how the play with the balans between light and shadow. Little changes in the poses has influence in the balans of light-shadow. Only what I need one eye with the catchlight in his eye, but when I have in two eyes a catchlight is good aswell.

The hand with the drinkingglass give more depth to the photo.
This technique was using by the paintingartists, by placing an object (his hand) at the front you create depth in an image.

In photoshop I have used frequence seperation to play with the sharpness in the photo.
