While volunteering at a local orphanage in the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, I had the opportunity to sleep in a yurt for two weeks. To me, the vivid colours and unique architecture of the yurt reflected the intricate details in the Mongolian designs, the culture's tradition and its history.
