Location
We have a number of residential subdivisions in my area that have lakes surrounding or meandering through them. I often walk along paths that wind through them. I always carry my camera on those walks. I keep a lookout while walking for scenes or conditions that appeal to my senses. Somewhat instinctive! If it strikes you that it may make a good photo generally it turns out that way. With me anyhow. More than often the view is a good photo.Time
Early morning is the best. When the light is a bit diffused, the air is clear and the still and sun sun is at a lower angle which highlights your subject scene.Lighting

It varies, sometimes my Nikon SLR however the cameras in the modern phones have exceptional qualities and I always have it with me so a number of my shots are taken with it as well. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.Inspiration
