If there's even a hint of rain on the horizon, these slot canyons should be avoided at all costs. The same forces that chisels the stone walls can quickly turn into a human blender. Even if it rains miles away, the water will collectively travel to the lowest point and turn into a freight train carrying a load of debris through these narrow passageways. Best to stay out of it’s path and enjoy the scenery in it’s wake.
