Location
This photo was taken in December 2016, in my backyard. We had a couple of bird feeders fairly close to the back porch. I would sit on the porch taking pictures of the birds and squirrels. This one seemed to be begging for more!Time
This was probably taken mid afternoon, judging by the shadows.Lighting
It was a bright, sunny winter day!Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon D5300 with a 200-500mm lens. The settings were ISO 250, f8, 1/4000 second.Inspiration
I love taking photos of wildlife! Any wildlife!!Editing
I might have adjusted the brightness, and probably had to straighten the photo. I always have to straighten my photos :-)In my camera bag
I now have a Nikon D500. I have 4 lenses (all Nikon), 50mm f1.8, 16mm-80mm f2.8, 70mm-200mm and a 200mm-500mm f5.6. I also have a 1.4X and a 2X teleconverter. I do have a tripod.Feedback
With digital cameras it's so easy to take lots of pictures. I always take a bunch at a time and pick out the best ones later.
