Thanks for the comments. It is a 1972 Ford XA Coupe, commonly referred to in Australia as a muscle car. If you saw the Mad Max movies they had the XC model which looks very similar but 1976.

Patrick, Australia is stopping production of the Fords and Holdens in Australia, and Toyota i think as well. We will be relying on imports only. I remember the 70,s cars as if it were yesterday.

Thanks HenryT. It took about 5 mins to set up this photo and, I think, the effect did the job. That model car sits directly above me on top of a cupboard here in my office along with 5 others.

Most famously driven by Alan Moffat and Colin Bond in a 1-2 finish at Mt. Panorama. Those were the days! Our car club used to go there to do spectator control - good fun! Yes - we're importing everything nowadays. Very sad. :(
