Location
The photo was taken at the lake side in the village close to Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia. I am a self learning amateur photographer.Time
I love photographing people and portraits. I have many nieces. We used to meet once a year to take some shots. You can see through the years how they grow into young women. November is one of the most dull months in our country. Usually the weather goes foggy and chilly. But the nature is often not crowded and calm.Lighting
I haven't used any special lighting. Just simple silver collapsible reflector.Equipment
I used my old camera NIKON D7000 camera, lenses Tamron 70.0-200.0 mm f/2.8, ISO125.Inspiration
I love the facial expressions and the way some lenses can capture these moments. When I go out with my nieces, we have an excellent time together. When such time is captured, each time we see it, then it feels like yesterday and we remember every detail.Editing
I haven't done any special post-processing, just smoothen very little face imperfections.In my camera bag
I used to take out my other lenses - like 85.0 mm f/1.8, or 16.0-80.0 mm f/2.8-4.0. But I love the results of the one I used for this shot.Feedback
I think the most importantly, do many shootings, does not need to be superb camera or lenses, just do not stop shooting. Learn from the mistakes.
