I recently photographed a series of damaged tiles in the pavement of a shopping mall-the random abstraction of lines and marks suggest many possible realities. This picture prompted me to visualize an imagined view of a dry creek bed in a desert landscape from an aerial perspective so l edited the image slightly to impress my vision on the photograph.
