This picture was taken in my front yard after we got a fresh layer of fluffy snowTime
I remember getting up early to shovel before going to work and this little guy was just waiting on the fence with a smileLighting
I was fortunate it was not too sunny so there was not too much reflection off the snowEquipment
I can not remember if it was with my Nikon d50 or my Canon pocket cameraInspiration
when I came outside and saw this little guy pop his head out of the snow with what looks like a smile I just had to preserve the happiness of the moment.Editing
I do not usually do so, so likely notIn my camera bag
As I am usually trecking through the bush, I usually just have what I can put around my neck or fit in my pocket, usually just a camera.Feedback
I feel animals can sense your reaction to them, as I always feel a sense of peace while outside, most animals either come towards me or ignore me. That being said, they are wild animals, they are not predictable, so I am also always aware of my surroundings and have an escape or defensive plan just in case. Squirrels can get over friendly and you can not be afraid to throw them off you.
