Behind The Lens

Location

this photo was taken on my couch. I use my flat as a studio because it makes things more real than a studio, it helps create mood. I depend on natural light from a window bay and no other light source.

Time

it was noon. when the flat is the brightest, so i get as much light as possible.

Lighting

one window bay in the middle of a sunny day is all i need for a flattering light :)

Equipment

i used a Canon 5D mark II with a 50mm lens and that's it. no flash no tripod no reflector.

Inspiration

we wanted to create something sensual that captures her feminity and avoid eroticism. something you can look at and think it's pretty, not sexy.

Editing

yes, worked the black and white and cleaned up a bit the skin grain

In my camera bag

my camera and lenses, and sometimes flashes and remote but i almost never use them
