Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in the harbour, hout bay , cape town , it is reflection of the boats on the water.

Time

It must have been 4 pm where the light is diffused and the water reflect perfectly that moment . There is a time bracket , and that moment is happen at a certain within the day.

Lighting

The serie is called , Random Precision or painting with Light and a camera

Equipment

Sony cybershot with a good Zeiss lense.

Inspiration

I love taking pictures . I just tuned in a different approach at seeing things. For that pictures it was a combinaison of observation, feeling and get absorb by the vision. emerging of it. it is pure observation

Editing

I just set my contrast and recrop to enhance the overall, but that s about it.

In my camera bag

Always a camera.as a photojournalist I have a moral obligation to record archives, Landscape or scenes of life . My trusted cybershot is always with me , like a Swiss army knife it is versatile for everyday work flow. If I need the pro body , my nikon D3 and my Canon 5d2 will complete the job. But they are heavy and require logistics.

Feedback

Go with the flow, try to see things as they are, they are the little moment in life where you can stop, look, smile because you see something. Pick your camera and press on that shutter. You may develop a serie or a style which is unique. Whatever what it is , it is right in front of us,
