NZ will offer photographers lot of scenic beauty which also includes numerous lakes with mountains behind in the scene. It is always good to find your own PoV to showcase this beauty. One of the lakes which I had covered is Lake Wakatipu which spans from Queenstown to Kingston. On the high there are several view points but there is a very good chance that you will miss this point called Devils staircase. Though this point is good to have a 180 degree view of the lake but you may not find it suitable for that perfect frame. Just few meters away this point there is stair creek from which you can get this beautiful intersection of two mountain range crossing by and if you are there during sunset you might see sun setting in the middle of them.
