This is a picture of my desk complete with opened and ignored mail, old magazines, a lighter, a dusty old fax machine that hasn’t worked in years, and a now broken point-and-shoot camera. The story behind this image is fairly simple. If you live with a photographer, then this is what you will have to put up with.
I lent my daughter one of my cameras so that she can take it to Spain on a trip. Six months later she gave the camera back to me without it’s shutter and zoom button. Do you know how hard it is to replace a simple shutter button on a P7100 ? Anyway, I found a P700 on Ebay and purchased it for the shutter button. In this image is that camera minus it’s shutter button, the screw driver I used to pry the button off of the camera, and the fake- finger nail-glue, because I could find any Crazy Glue, in order to repair my P7100.
I took this image with my repaired camera….
