This photo was taken in my home based studio in Stony Plain, AB.Time
This photo was take around 3pm, in November. We had snow falling outside so the lighting was just perfect through my windows. We ended up taking quite a few photos in this pose with this one being my Favorite.Lighting
I love working with natural light as much as I can, I have three larger windows in my room and was able to open the curtains and let the beautiful light cascade over my model!Equipment
My set up is a canon T5, I was using a generic Tripod, and the lens was a 18-55mm canon lens. and this was all i needed to capture this wonderful photo.Inspiration
This was the first Boudoir shoot I've ever done and I really wanted to capture the beauty of my model. Use the natural light to contour her frame. I really just wanted to create a stunning photo using the bare minimum.Editing
I used Lightroom CC to edit this photo. I took away any blemishes, and slightly altered the tones. I find if you start with a very clear photo, it doesn't take very long to edit, as I just needed to fix very minor things. In my camera bag
I usually carry my 50mm canon lens, 18-55mm canon lens, and 75-300mm canon lens. My camera is the Canon T5. I also make sure to have a cleaning cloth as well extra memory cards and my battery charger. As well depending on the shot I carry stickers and candy for the children.Feedback
If you are wanting to achieve a photo like this, I would first suggest making sure you have a cool light source coming from the right. (if you were to be looking at the top of the models head. Make sure your bedding was white. Have your model pull all of her hair out from under her and drape it over the side of the bed. Additionally, set your tripod slightly higher the your model. Relax and take a few photos in different angles. I do groups of three photos in each angle so I can make sure to get the image I want sharp and smooth.
