What is it with aspens? Why are we drawn to them? Is it the black and white contrast caused by the white bark and black spots? Is it because we can anticipate the changing colors in autumn? Or the beautiful green leaves in spring?
We all have reasons for loving aspen trees. Many of the aspen groves are found the in the American Rocky Mountain Range and at higher elevations. They can be found in states like Montana, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and several other and into Canada.
These "family" trees grow from the same root system.
