These lovely meerkats at the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo were sunning themselves at the highest point they could climb to, to take advantage of what sun was being offered for the day. I spent so much time at this enclosure as I love meerkats, my husband had to drag me away after about an hour of him being super patient waiting for me to get my fill of these lovely creatures. I took this shot on 16th July 2013. This photo was taken on my Canon EOS 350D Digital. F-8, 1-500sec, ISO400, 120mm Focal Length.
